How to get to West Finland College from Tampere or Helsinki:

Distance from Huittinen:

Public transport is good in Finland and it is easy to reach the College by bus from the Tampere or Helsinki/Vantaa airports.

Note that If you have a student card you might get 50% discount (foreign student cards are not always accepted). Have cash available for the bus ticket as they don´t accept debit cards, only cash and credit cards.

From Helsinki/Vantaa airport:
Once you leave the Arrivals terminal at Helsinki airport, go to Helsinki city center by train or Finnair shuttle or even with a regular bus.

The Finnair shuttle stops at the main railway station in Helsinki. From there it is a 5 minute walk to the Helsinki bus station, called KAMPPI. From there, take a direct bus to Huittinen (That is where the college is located.). The bus destination might be Pori or Rauma (via Huittinen). The destination is usually written on the front of the bus. The bus ride from Helsinki to Huittinen is about 3 hours.

You must get off at the bus station in Huittinen. The bus station is also the taxi rank. When you get here, take a taxi asking for “Länsi-Suomen Opisto” (West Finland College). The trip costs about 14 EUR and lasts almost 10 minutes. The college is 4 km from the centre.

If you arrive with Onnibus, you will get off at Huittinen ABC. The college is 2.2 km from there.
